A School Mental Health and Narcotics Awareness Programme was conducted on 18 July 2026 at Adarsha Government School, H.D. Kote, in collaboration with WAPR IC.

The interactive session was led by our Trustee, Dr. Shashidhar Bilagi, with the objective of creating awareness about mental health and the harmful effects of drug misuse among students. The programme was attended by the Headmaster, the Taluk Health Officer, the Block Health Education Officer, the School Development and Monitoring Committee President, and PSI Chikkanayaka — their presence underscored the importance of this initiative.

More than 160 students participated enthusiastically in the interactive session, showing keen interest through active discussions and questions. The programme reflects our ongoing commitment to promoting mental well-being and substance-abuse prevention among young people.

The programme was inaugurated by the Taluk Health Officer, Dr. Ravikumar T., alongside Chittadhama's manager Mahadevaswamy, school principal Ravindra Babu, and SDMC president Bairegowda.
